Indigenous Hospitality Beyond Inclusion

In this work grounded in Maclane’s Master’s study, Maclane moves beyond understandings of “inclusion” and challenges organizations to think and act within a philosophy of hospitality. In this approach, systems and structures that are colonial or antithetical to a sense of home are changed or abandoned, thereby generating a sense of hospitality by and for Indigenous people at school, the workplace, and beyond.
